Patriotism: White Supremacists & the “Far Right” - Are they really Patriots? For some, the word "Patriot" invokes images of White Supremacists, the Far Right, the Alt Right, and such groups others. Because American Patriotism requires valuing and defending the First Principles of the rule of law, unalienable rights, limited government, the Social Compact, equality, and the right to alter or abolish oppressive government, they fall outside of the definition of American Patriotism.
